Banda La Costeña de Ramón López Alvarado is a Sinaloan banda ensemble founded in 1950 by Ramón López Alvarado in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The group’s lineup features brass, woodwinds, and percussion, performing rancheras, corridos, and other forms of regional Mexican music. Over the years, they have recorded multiple albums and participated in various festivals in Mexico and abroad. Although the band has experienced changes in personnel, it continues to maintain the style and repertoire established by its founder, contributing to the ongoing presence of Sinaloan banda in regional and international settings. The band was occasionally referred to as "La Reina Del Pacífico" (Spanish for "The Queen Of The Pacific").
