Played with Lil Armstrong And Her Swing Band). Lil Hardin-Armstrong was Louis Armstrong's second wife (and he was her second husband). They married in 1924 and divorced in 1938.

Composed "Struttin' With Some Barbecue," "Bad Boy," "Just For A Thrill," "Perdido Street Blues," "The King Of The Zulu's", which is often miscredited to Louis Armstrong.
