British singer, born 3 February 1928 in Liverpool, England, UK and died 17 May 1999 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, UK.
Renowned for his trademark "High Kick" during performances and fondly ed in Scotland for his humanitarian contribution in the late 1960s, working with a youth project to resolve gang violence in Glasgow's Easterhouse district.
