Chas Chandler

British musician, producer, artist manager.

Born: 18 December 1938 in Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, UK.
Died: 17 July 1996 (of an aortic aneurysm at Newcastle General Hospital) in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, UK (aged 57).

Best known for his musician work as bassist with group Slade, and other business activities.

In 1979 he bought Ozzy Osbourne) in 1983.

Chandler had one son, Steffan, by his first marriage. He then married Madeleine Stringer ("Miss UK" 1977), by whom he had a son, Alex, and two daughters, Elizabeth & Katherine.
