Joseph Butler

American jazz double bassist and singer, also known as "Kid Twat", born December 25, 1907 in Algiers, New Orleans, Louisiana; died June 19, 1982 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Butler spent most of his career working with Orange Kellin (1966–7). In the 1920s he also worked as a blues pianist and singer.
