Lou Mauro

New York jazz and session bass player Louis J. Mauro was born in Ambridge, PA, July 5, 1927, died March 7, 2014. Mauro's 70-year-long career in the music industry included work with orchestras and bands all over the United States during the big band era, as a studio musician in New York, and touring the US playing jazz festivals. His career ended in semi-retirement in Orlando, Florida, as a musician at the Grand Floridian.
