Wings (2) – Wings Greatest

A generous hits collection with nearly 55 minutes of music, thankfully the sound quality of the vinyl (1978 Goldisc pressing) is quite good, with plenty of bass and a crisp, punchy soundstage. My copy plays nice and clean with just a trace of faint surface noise here and there, and there is a single jump skip on "Uncle Albert / iral Halsey". Worth it for the non-album singles "Junior's Farm", "Hi Hi Hi", "Live and Let Die" and "Another Day".

Astounding sound quality. More detail,depth of bass,clarity than my 1st press copy on vinyl,(played on a top notch turntable). These SHM-CD'S really are something else. Highest recommendation. In stock@£19.50 from Juno-UK.

A fabulous collection of the best by Wings. Brings back memories of car rides listening to a.m. radio. Puts me right back into the 70s, feeling all the fuzzies in my heart.

Bought this off eBay and it had so much dust. Cleaned it like 3 times. Still, full of dust but it plays with no crackle. I don't understand it.

These are available from CDjapan. the $ is very strong against the yen so quite affordable.

Sound is decent. Lots of debris on the LP. Fingerprints and really dusty. Cleaned up okay but disappointed in the QC of this pressing. Expected better.

In reference to variant 1. Not to seem like a broken audio source but this early Canadian edition is dynamic and open.

Sounds great on my system. Plays flat very dynamic. No volume problem? Thats what the volume knob is for! Crank it like you would any other classic!

Not audiophile quality by any means but still a very nice pressing. Sound is spacious and separation is good. A tendency to be bassy, but PM was a bassist…so there you go! Sonically a good record. For the right price this is worth searching out. Recommend.
