Notes
Counterfeit replica of the 1st pressing crediting A7 on the label to "P.D."
Gatefold cover
No identifiable press or master scribings exist in the runouts such as etched "-◁", stamped "IAM" (in a triangle), "0" or "Bell Sound"
Other common counterfeit signs which may appear on this reproduction:
- Etched "IAM in triangle" in the runout, official is machine stamped
- Etched "Bell Sound" in the runout, official is machine stamped
- Matrices in runout are not as defined as in the official releases making them more difficult to read
- Labels actually have only one large concentric ring. Smaller Capitol ring is merely part of the image taken from original label.
- Labels are slightly dull and a little washed out
- Front cover: white borders around the photographs are thicker than official gatefold.
- Artist photographs show 'washed-out' complexions. This is most apparent on Harrison's
- The etched "Phil + Ronnie" is in a significantly different handwriting than on official pressings
Back cover:
Thanks to George Martin / Glyn Johns / Billy Preston / Harold Seider / Mal Davies / Peter Bown / Richard Hewson / Brian Rogers.
Recorded in England.

Edited one year agoThe big clue is the side one label's inner ring is a photocopy of the ring but no physical ring is there. and the cut apple side has some dotted pattern on the white part of the apple. But someone went that far to create this.

i always thought this LP just kind of sounded bad to begin with. i always played my Variant 4 copy (as above) just because its in really clean VG+ condition. hell, theres even a really severe volume adjustment in the first moment or so of "I Got A Feeling". i just figured that was the producer keeping the authenticity of the raw source material. but tonight, i decided to enter some of my Beatles records to my collection, and this turns out to be a crappy counterfeit that i never knew of before. decided to put on my really worn and scratched up OG Scranton Bell Sound pressing. the difference is staggering. even through the surface noise and scratches, the actual legit pressing sounds so clear and warm with an enormous amount of depth.
i would call this counterfeit a Complete Piece Of Crap, but that would be an insult to excrement all over the world. -
Listened to this recently and its horrible. Sorry thats all I can say...but its sort of cool to have.
