With this track, darkside '93 breakbeat style reached its absolute peak. A genre defined moment. You wont ever hear a darker track than this one as already said, but at the same time so uplifting. One of the best tunes ever made, and i'm talking about the original mix on the a-side, that also appears on ''The Dark Side II (Jungle & Technology)'' compilation. -

Edited 19 years agoExcellent remixes of the darkside classic "Bludclot Artattack" by Ed Rush and No U-Turn main man Nico. Smooth rolling beats, heavy sub bass and some twisted dark sounds. But the best part is that wicked sinister sample from Apocalypse Now; "Everytime I think I'm gonna wake up back in the jungle", spoken by Martin Sheen in his usual whiskey voice, it's unbelievably cool and fits the atmosphere of the tunes perfectly. Both remixes are pretty similar in structure and sound, with slightly heavier beats in the "Lick 1" remix and a more chilled laid back feel in "Lick 2". I actually like the latter one better, cause it's so utterly dark and twisted. Can't get enough of this darkside bizznizz. -

It doesn't come much darker than this - The 'Dark Mix' does exactly what it says on the tin. Bad boy bassline, and a sample from 'Flash Gordon' right at the beginning...Class.
